When the market cannot separate two teams, the model often can. Coin Flips lists every match in the next 24 hours where the home and away prices sit within a narrow band of each other — the genuinely 50-50 games as the bookmakers see them.

Add the home or away win probability rule and the list splits itself: the model's lean in a match the market called even. Or add a draw rule — evenly matched games are where draw prices are most often too big.

What the Coin Flips filter checks

  • Home Win 2.2–2.9
  • Away Win 2.2–2.9

Every fixture kicking off in the next 24 hours is tested against each rule; only the matches that pass all of them are listed above, with the actual figure behind every rule shown on the card. The list is rebuilt through the day as odds and form update.

Frequently asked questions

What is a coin flip match?
Here it means the home win and away win are priced within a few points of each other on Bet365, typically both around 2.50–2.90. The draw is usually a similar price, so all three outcomes are near a third.
Why bet on evenly matched games at all?
Because when the market is unsure, small edges are worth more. A model lean of 40% against a price implying 36% is a bigger edge, proportionally, than the same gap on a heavy favourite.
Is the Coin Flip Matches: Games the Market Can’t Split list free?
Yes. Anyone can see the first few matches and add rules of their own; a free OddAlerts account unlocks the full list and runs the free preset on the live match feed. Pro runs every preset live with alerts, sorting and 30-day backtests.
