Connect your FPL team

Enter your FPL team ID and we will pull in your fifteen, score it against the projection model and tell you what to do about it.

FPL keeps every manager's squad private until the Gameweek 1 deadline, so no site can pull in your fifteen yet. Connect your team ID now and it will load itself the moment FPL opens up.

Your team ID is the number in the URL when you view your points on the FPL site, for example fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1234567/event/1.

Connecting your team is free

The rating itself, the captaincy call and the transfer advice come from the projection model, which is part of Pro.

Rate My FPL Team, 2026/27

Most team raters answer a question nobody asked. They tell you what your squad has already scored, which the Fantasy Premier League site tells you for free, or they hand you a mark out of a hundred with no account of where it came from. Neither helps, because the only thing worth knowing about a squad today is how many points it is going to score next month.

This rater projects every player you own forward over the next six gameweeks and adds up what they are expected to return. A squad of players who had a good season last year but face a brutal run rates badly. A squad of unfashionable names at clubs the betting market likes rates well. The number is a forecast, not a report card.

How to find your FPL team ID

Log in to the Fantasy Premier League site and open your Points or Gameweek History tab. The address bar will read something like fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1234567/event/1, and the number after /entry/ is your team ID. It never changes. Sign in to OddAlerts before you connect it and we will remember it, so your squad loads itself every time you come back.

What the rating actually measures

Each player is reduced to per-90 rates for expected goals, expected assists, defensive contributions, saves and cards, weighted by how many minutes sit behind those rates so a thin sample is not taken at face value. Those rates are multiplied by the minutes the player is likely to get, adjusted for the difficulty of each upcoming fixture, and converted into points using the official scoring rules.

Fixture difficulty is where this parts company with other raters. Instead of FPL's fixed one-to-five rating, which is decided before the season and never revisited, each fixture is priced from the betting market: the match odds and the over-under line are stripped of the bookmaker's margin and solved for the expected goals each side was priced at. Those numbers are all on the fixture difficulty ticker if you want to check them.

Your squad is rated as a squad rather than a list of players. The tool finds the highest-scoring legal eleven available from your fifteen across every valid formation, so a strong bench is not mistaken for a strong team, and it tells you which formation gets there.

Reading your rating

Projected points tell you how good the squad is. Projected points per million tell you how well built it is, and that is usually the more useful number, because the binding constraint is the budget rather than the supply of good players. A squad that projects well but spends badly has no room to react when someone gets injured.

The advice underneath is deliberately narrow. It names the captain with the highest projection, the players whose fixtures or minutes make them the weak links, and the single transfers that would add the most points inside the money you actually have. A recommendation you cannot act on this week is entertainment.

Rating a team before Gameweek 1

Pre-season is when squad decisions matter most and when the least information exists. No site can import your team before the first deadline: Fantasy Premier League keeps every manager's picks private until a gameweek locks, and wipes the previous season's squads when the game rolls over. Connect your ID and we will pull your real fifteen in the moment FPL makes it public. Until then, draft a squad in the team builder and it will be scored the same way.
