The best home teams to back today are not always the shortest prices. Hot Homes asks for a season home win rate of 55% or more, at least 1.8 points per home game, four wins from the last five at home — and, on the other side, visitors who have won no more than one of their last five away.

Every match shows the four numbers, so you can see how convincingly each side qualifies. Add a price rule to keep only the home wins in your odds range, or a clean sheet rate if you want win-to-nil candidates.

What the Hot Homes filter checks

  • Win % (home) 55%+
  • PPG (Points Per Game) (home) 1.8+
  • Win % (last 5, home) 80%+
  • Win % (last 5, away) under 20%

Every fixture kicking off in the next 24 hours is tested against each rule; only the matches that pass all of them are listed above, with the actual figure behind every rule shown on the card. The list is rebuilt through the day as odds and form update.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from Home Bankers?
Home Bankers leads on the model's probability and checks form second. Hot Homes ignores the model entirely and works only from results — the season, the last five and the opponent's away record. Matches on both lists are the strongest home wins of the day.
Why does the visitor's away form matter?
A hot home side against a team that wins regularly on the road is a contest. Against a side that has lost or drawn four of its last five away, it is much closer to a banker, and the price does not always reflect that.
Is the Best Home Teams to Win Today list free?
Yes. Anyone can see the first few matches and add rules of their own; a free OddAlerts account unlocks the full list and runs the free preset on the live match feed. Pro runs every preset live with alerts, sorting and 30-day backtests.
