How to Read Correct Score Probabilities

Correct score odds look generous because they are long. The chance of any single scoreline is small. A 12% shot at 1-1 is an ordinary football match, and it still loses most of the time. The correct score page puts the percentage in front of you before 8/1 gets to feel like a gift.

Each common scoreline has its own table: 0-0, 1-1, 2-2, the home wins from 1-0 through 5-0, the away wins from 0-1 through 0-5, and the one-goal games the other way (2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4). You open the score you are actually thinking about, and the matches most likely to land it sit at the top.

If you would rather see the likely scorelines attached to one fixture, that lives on AI football predictions, next to the result and the goals. Come here when the scoreline is already decided and you want it across the card.

Tonight, or the weekend

The default is the next 48 hours, sorted by probability. Pull it in to 24 hours for tonight, or push it to 72 when you are looking ahead. Kick-off order is there for building a coupon in time order. I leave it on probability. Kick-off order is the television schedule.

Even the top of a table is often only a low double-digit percentage. That is right. Matches do not have a 40% correct score. Read the number, then the price.

Implied probability on these is usually small, because the decimal odds are large. One divided by 9.00 is about 11%. If the model says 11% and the price says 11%, you have a fair price. The rows worth a second look are where those two disagree. Value bets hunts that gap on the markets it covers.

Over 2.5 and a correct score overlap without being the same bet. 2-1 wins both. 1-1 wins the correct score and loses the over. 3-0 can win the over and still sit a long way down the correct score list, because "three or more" is much easier to land than one exact score.

How to use it

  1. Pick the scoreline — Open correct score on the score you are considering, not the whole coupon at once.
  2. Set the window — 48 hours is the default. Use 24 for tonight, or 72 if you are early.
  3. Sort by probability — Switch to kick-off only when you are ordering a coupon in time.
  4. Hold the percentage against the odds — A long price can still be short once you do the division.

FAQ

What is the percentage on a correct score?

The model's chance of that exact score. 1-0 and 2-0 are different rows, even though both are home wins, and neither of them is the chance of over 2.5.

Why does it open on 48 hours?

That covers a normal weekend without pulling in games that are still days of team news away. You can move it to the next day or the next three.
