Frequently asked questions

Why look at venue-specific first half goals?
Teams play differently at home and away. A side that flies out of the blocks in front of its own crowd can sit in and wait when travelling, so the home-at-home and away-away splits are more useful than the overall figure.
Why include the last ten as well as the season?
Season figures can be carried by an early-season hot streak that has since cooled. Requiring the last ten to agree keeps the list honest.
