Unders are the market most bettors ignore, which is exactly why the prices are often generous. This filter keeps matches where our model gives under 2.5 goals 58% or more and both teams to score under 45%, then checks that neither side has been involved in high-scoring games over their recent run.

Tight games tend to come from a tight league, a cautious home side or a visitor who sets up to contain — the numbers here catch all three. Open a match to see the probability and the form, or add a corners or cards rule if you want the grind without the goals.

What the Tight Games filter checks

  • -2.5 Goals 62%+
  • BTTS under 42%
  • +2.5 Goals % under 48%
  • +2.5 Goals % (last 10) under 45%

Every fixture kicking off in the next 24 hours is tested against each rule; only the matches that pass all of them are listed above, with the actual figure behind every rule shown on the card. The list is rebuilt through the day as odds and form update.

Frequently asked questions

When does an under 2.5 goals bet win?
When the match finishes with two goals or fewer: 0-0, 1-0, 2-0 or 1-1. Three goals or more and it loses. Half-time scores don't matter, only the final total.
Why does the filter check both teams' recent goals?
Because a low-scoring league average hides a lot. A side that has just started leaking or a striker who has come back from injury shows up in the last-ten numbers long before it shows up in the season table.
Is the Under 2.5 Goals Predictions list free?
Yes. Anyone can see the first few matches and add rules of their own; a free OddAlerts account unlocks the full list and runs the free preset on the live match feed. Pro runs every preset live with alerts, sorting and 30-day backtests.
